Nintendo 1981 Original Donkey Kong Coin Operated Arcade Video Game, Floor Standing Cabinet

Want to own a Very, Very Rare & Collectable Arcade Video Game of Yesterday for your own Arcade, Gameroom, Restaurant, Nightclub, Family Fun Center Or Just As A Very Rare Conversation Piece Collectable For Your Own Home. I have this one that is just waiting for someone who has the time fix it up and clean it up to restore this True American Icon of the Big 80s back to it's former glory. Now here is the bad news. This is now a non working game. At this point I do not have time to spend with it or to fix it, Of course as a fully working game. It's value is considerable. From what I know and can tell upon quick observation and inspection. It appears to be a power supply problem from all I know and have seen. When this game was working. I was actually offered $2500,00 for the game and turned it down if that tells you anything. That was sometime ago and now it's value has increased significantly as it has become much more rare from then. A serious Arcade Treasure Collector will definitely want to take note of this sale item. At this point. It's locks were removed for usage on another game so the front door lock will not be included under this deal. You can install your own or I can put one on for you for slight additional charge. These came out in 1981 from the Nintendo Game Company and became the craze of the Nation rather quickly. As with many things it was a fad and most of the original cabinets were up-kitted to other games that would not have nearly the standing popularity as these machines did. I know this because we did this with quite a few games which are now long gone.

Most of the brown stuff & specs you see on the front are not veneer damage but flakes from where someone put contact paper on the cabinet trying to make it look newer at the time. The blue on the case is actually in great shape for it's age with most of the brown stuff from where the arcade we bought it from went crazy with the contact paper on it. We removed most of it but this is how it has been for sometime. This was a star of the time before it's failure and we quickly removed and replaced it with a working game and it became a dust collector and ultimately the building was sold so it would never again see actual customer service. It now waits quietly and deeply buried in a dusty warehouse among other treasures of this bygone era. Upon photographing it. I almost considered fixing it myself to make the considerable sum on this. In case you have not figured out by now. I just have way too much stuff to do this with and now I travel frequently and this is what this site is all about. Just trying to unload all of this stuff is certainly mind boggling to me. My objective is to unload and reclaim space so I regretfully post it for somebody to pickup dirt cheap as an easy fixer upper that should conceivably command thousands in the right selling environment. If at anytime I decide or actually get the time to fix it. I reserve the right to considerably change the advertised price as posted. This game actually has the original Nintendo Wood Coin Box. I will be posting a picture as soon I get a chance. This game is now deeply buried among other stuff and I did not think about getting a pic of this when I first made the pictures of it.
