I got such a good deal on this phone when I found it that I totally forgot to ask one essential question that was a most important one and turned out to be a real problem for me. I purchased this from a friend of a co-worker as an impulse deal and he no longer needed it and I found a deal on it. I saw unlocked and figured I could not go wrong and bought it in a hurry. It's a very nice phone, but there is one problem for me. I need a GSM phone such as AT&T, T-Mobile Etc but this phone is a a CDMA and not being familiar with US Cellular, I figured it would be fine because it was unlocked. Well this is fine and dandy so long as you need a phone that will work on CDMA networks such as US Cellular, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Page Plus Cellular which is really cheap and a whole other host of CDMA Carriers. I wanted to use this on T-Mobile which I currently use and I later realized it is a CDMA phone and not a GSM phone when I went to pop off the back cover to slide a sim card in and realized there is no sim card which is the case on CDMA phone.

The verdict is I bought a phone in a hurry I cannot use and I making it available to someone who can use it on a CDMA network. Don't make the mistake I did of buying in hurry because I have such a great deal on this phone. Buy it once you know you need a phone that will work on a CDMA network. I have been on T-Mobile for years and I am happy with it. Upon investigating the CDMA options, I have to say that I was most impressed with what I found in deals on the lower usage plans on Page Plus Cellular which works on the Verizon network. I have not experimented on the pre-paid deals yet but I do know there are some savings here.

If you have been wanting a phone you can use on Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Page Plus or any other CDMA Carrier. I have just made your day if you are one who enjoys the style, performance and functionality of the RAZR2 line of phones. I love these and have had several and I really bought this one as a backup if my main phone were to fail. The problem is I now realize more than ever is I have to have a GSM phone to work on T-Mobile.

I am showing you the best pics I could get together with a so-so camera and I hope this makes the phone look ok. I think it is nice with the problem of the back plate having some finish worn away from it as I am showing you below. It powers up ok and I can make a call getting the disconnect recording as mentioned. 

If you try to make a call on it, It indicates that it is a Verizon phone in the call unsuccessful recording so it does appear to be unlocked and to have been used on another network confirming the seller's story to me since it was sold on the US cellular system. I don't know a whole lot about cell phones as a whole and I made the mistake of buying a CDMA phone for a GSM usage. I imagine I am not the first to make this mistake though! This is what I know on this phone and I have it for sale to you at the some low price I paid for it and I am even throwing in fast free 2 day quick shipping anywhere in the USA to you included in this low, low price!

By this phone, but buy it for CDMA and not for GSM usage if you need it. This is the main reason I am not keeping it. I see there is not a page Plus dealer in my area and I was considering the switch due to their low, low rates which is worth checking out.
