60 Watt, 80 Channel 450-470 MHz. 2 Way Radio

Fully Programmable With Channel Scanning & Priority Scan.

While this is a high channel capacity and high power radio. It is probably more 2 way radio than hardly anyone would ever need in almost any mobile application. I purchased a tourism business that was using these and we adapted to cellular based communications during the operations before the company was sold long ago. I still have this radio around in my storage and you can get it as the package it was when in operation. The radio is currently programmed with only a few channels on a 461-466 mhz split with a intenerate 457 Mhz handheld channel in it as well. The radio was working fine when it was removed from a vehicle that was sold. The package includes The Radio With Mounting Bracket and Power Cable, The Midland Pro Grade Communications Microphone that works great. A GE High output communications speaker that is probably one of the best sounding I have used. Nice loud crisp audio compared to the built in speaker. The bracket for the speaker is cracked but it will install fine.

Midland UHF 2-Way 60 Watt, 80 Channel Scanning Radio Package

Midland LMR Products are true workhorses with an un-matched reliability for the price. I have never seen one of these fail in normal service and the cost to operate was significantly lower than a Motorola or GE L.M.R. Product by comparison. You can pick up this radio really cheap as I am long out of a business where I would need this. If I were to do it again. For the money, The clear choice is Midland Land Mobile Radio Products from my own experience. These are feature packed radios at a bargain price and programming is fairly easy of you have the cable and software. You can also easily find ham and communications people to help on setting up one of these if you need to re-program it. The radio was set for both full duplex repeater operation and talk around simplex channels when it was in service. 

Installation is a snap because it is an under dash radio rather than a split 2 piece system of control head and truck mounted radio requiring the installation of heavy & cumbersome cable. Just add 12 volts power and plug in an antenna and you have working 2 way communications. I can't say enough good about these radios.

Package includes a high gain U.H.F. Center Loaded Coil Antenna that was on the vehicle. This antenna does not include the vehicle mount part where the coaxial cable attaches to the base that goes through the vehicle. It is as pictured above. This is what you get. These radios are great and 60 watts is way more power than most would ever dream of needing in a mobile UHF with the intention of using it with repeaters. I can't imagine needing 80 channels with it. However you choose to program it. That is up to you. I shared the usage information to give you an idea on how it is currently tuned. Professional Communications Needs or Amateur Radio Operators (Ham) This radio is great find at a great price.

The radio worked when removed from service and I have any known deficiencies where I find them. As with all of my sale items.
