Jet Professional Band Saw

82 Inch Blade, 14 Inch Table Large Precision Cutting Bandsaw.

If you have been looking for a professional grade floor standing shop wood band saw. This is your lucky day. Tired of looking at flimsy made department store saws that are literally falling apart on the sales floor. This is what I found when I initially shopped for these. We used them a in a short lived specialty fabrication facility that basically did it's contract and closed out on special custom vehicle console and cabinet work. I am long out that business and the building was sold. I happen to have this very nice saw still around. Most bandsaws I see today are quite junky looking and over priced compared to this workhorse I still have. I have run about every little project through it I can think of and at this point it is simply taking up space. This saw is in almost new condition except for light surface rust on it's mill polished steel surfaces. There is a miter push gauge I am including with it that came off of another saw and it works well on this on and is rather rusty and beat up looking but it works fine and gives great results and allows for safe operation with this band saw helping to keep your fingers away from the blade. The blade guard is fully adjustable for the thickness of your wood you are cutting and also contains bearings to keep your blade properly tensioned and allow very smooth precision cutting.

As you might be able to see. I almost really hate to part with this saw because it is so handy to have around. It is simply way more saw than what I really need. This is ideal for industrial use but I have it priced so the homeowner do-it-yourselfer can easily afford it. JET tools has been around since 1937 and they are an American company who has been so successful with their quality tools they now sell aggressively and most competitively around the Globe! They build pro-grade 1st class tools and it is a real please to use this saw. This saw will accommodate 82 inch blades from 1/8 inch which is what is currently on it all the up to a 1/2 inch blade with no problem. I am including both 1/8 and a 1/4 blade with very light use on it with your purchase of this saw as well.

If you look at many of the band saws on the floors in your hardware department stores. You will find appliance grade or tool sale type motors on those. This motor is an industrial grade mill quality motor that is engineered for durability and dependable operation for quite a long time. This saw is really whisper quiet compared to comparable products. The bearings allow for the smoothest blade operation of almost any saw available at any price on the market. This jet band saw also has the vacuum cleaner attachment to run to a shop vacuum and dust particle removal system if you have one of these. This is another accessory that will be included with the sale of this saw.
