Super Rare GLI Vintage Presence Dimension Sound Processor Is Finally Now Available!  

Were you one of the countless Thousands of People who were always in the local HI-Fi shop back in the Seventies & into The Eighties spending all the extra money you had in your pocket and in the bank account always seeking to build your home sound system into the kind of installation you saw and heard in the nightclubs and discos of the time and no matter how much you spent or what you bought at the time, your own sound system just still did not quite seem quite like what you heard in the professional sound systems ?

If this is you, This sale item is for you as seller is now parting with one of the industry secret sound processor devices you could not buy in your neighborhood stereo shop as this was produced as a professional industry piece and really almost only sold in New York for professional installation only other than what seemed to leak out by sound engineers in the know at the time to other highly competent and informed sound engineers at the time.

This 14 inch wide and 2 ½ inch tall audio wonder was often sold with the GLI 3800 Disco Mixer as seen below and the combination of these two was a sound wonder to behold. The mixer was a nice sounding board at the time with most limited features compared to today’s models. The great sound processed by this unit seemed to slide into obscurity with the fall of the Disco era and World almost unknowingly lost this timeless treasure.

This seller imagines a few might still be around in use by those who appreciate the best in quality audio sound and this is why I have finally made the heartbreaking decision to finally part with this obviously most rare audio signal processing device.

These units were produced in a limited production level and now in researching this device in the modern day. This seller was unable to find even one of these still left in existence on the Internet at the time of this listing and for a couple of years before. While I no longer have the equipment for a larger installation to fully appreciate this vintage sound device or the time to truly enjoy the rich warm sound it could lend to music produced at the time, especially allowing biting dance brass and the super bass presence of the disco era to magically come alive through this mystery box. After considerable research and a good bit of deep thought and decision making in finding that I could find absolutely no information in all the millions pages on the web about this fabulous seemingly almost secret unit. I finally arrived at the decision to part with this device as I now know I neither have the time or likelihood to enjoy and appreciate this timeless wonder.

This device is so rare that it does not have a model number on it. It only Says GLI Sound Processor on the face. There is no mention of a model on the back either and the only real information you will see is “PATENT PENDING” on the top right rear panel of this extremely rare and most vintage unique collectable sound device you will look long and hard for. I imagine that now that I have actually decided to release this most rare device for sale, a few will pop-up online out of their coveted hiding places as well.

You can see from the higher serial number that this was a production device and not an experimental prototype that was not actually available. It is the first ever audio device this seller has been able to find absolutely nothing on in searching on the Internet!

This tells me this treasured audio processor device is super rare and after considerable deliberation. This seller feels it is about time to basically let the Genie out of the bottle so to speak so that other could have a chance to enjoy this timeless audio treasure of yesteryear.

This unit waqs working fine when removed from service and Seller is preparing you to expect dirty controls and maybe a little noise when pots are turned as this has been sitting for many years. This unit is being priced really low and you can buy and play with it and if you have to spend a little to do a couple of things. He thinks you are still way ahead considering how cheap you are picking up once what was a very expensive unit at a bargain basement price for a truly unique vintage unit that I cold not even find online just to allow seller to clear out way too much stuff and it all has to go. The seller’s overall assessment of condition is fair and the panel LED lights up nicely as it should. You can see by the picture, it seems to be on and ready for music input which could come from you and your high end vintage audio system that is looking for just that something extra to make it really nice. This processor is a a fairly compact unit built into a durable metal case and it is priced right to move out the door quickly.
