Super Strobe

If you have used or seen the Diversitronics Luma-Power Super Strobe then absolutely no introduction whatsoever is needed. You should already be ready to buy it based on seller's super LOW Sale Price on this vary rare and now most vintage highly sought item. I have this one available and while it is quite old in age. I had it serviced with attention to cleaning out the entire airway as these will often fill with dust in service since they are fan cooled and then they overheat and fail. This strobe has been regularly serviced in its life and a brand new lamp has now been installed. These alone will set you back about as much as the strorbe just for new lamp by itself which is what was paid when this one was purchased plus the cost of the servicing on it.

This particular strobe has been used in probably countless theatrical & entertainment applications over its lifespan and the last installation was a nightclub in a ceiling for many years. The establishment closed and remained vacant for many years with no climate control. There is a good bit of rust on the case due to prolonged condensation in this building with no activity in the building before it was ultimately sold for re-development. All theatrical electronics were eventually pulled from this building and this strobe simply went into storage in one of our warehouses for many years. As with all my items. I am going though and looking at what someone might want. happened to noticed the Zeon lamp that was in the unit was quite black as happens to Xeon Strobes over the duration of their life and it was decided to put this into friendly service tech's shop that we regularly used over the years and have this unit checked out. Have the dust blown out of it for continued reliable operation and replace the lamp. I know this strobe is at least 20 years old and hopefully it is good for another 20 years of service. 

For those of you not familiar with these strobes. The Diversitronics Luma-Power Strobe is one of the World's Bright Professional Caliber Strobe Lights Ever Built and this particular model uses high volume forced air large fan cooling to keep the unit running cool and stable for potential prolonged operation. The Luma Super Strobe is considered the Professional Industry Standard for Super Bright, Dependable Bright Strobe Light Capable Of Illuminating the Largest Stages. You have probably seen these strobes in Theatrical Presentations, Film & Television Usage, Nightclubs, Amusement Rides. Really anywhere anyone might want action stopping super bright Illumination that can stop the fastest moving objects and display them in photo perfect frames. The action stopping capture power of these strobes Is a definite must-see site if you have actually never witnessed one of these in action.

This unit will include the Diversitronics Remote Control With Your Purchase. These can be quite expensive by themselves. The strobe light remote control allows start and stop operation of the Xenon Flash, The Rate Of Flash & Intensity Level Of The Strobe Flash. Again these strobes normally need no introduction. I simply wanted to share the bio on this particular unit. 

Another nice feature of this individual strobe is the remote cable has been modified with a set of Cannon Male/Female XLR Connectors in the strobe remote cable that make this unit quite flexible for almost any professional installation permanent or temporary. This strobe was used in many different uses over its life in service and this modification allows you to add any standard XLR Microphone Cable that you might have laying around as Your Super Strobe Extension Cable if the standard Remote Control Cable is not enough. Most used strobes will normally be sold with the remote as an extra purchase item for additional cost as this is how they were sold new. This seller is including this remote with this strobe to offer you a complete strobe system ready to go to work!

 For those of you not familiar with these. Beware of cheap imitations with wireless remotes as the nature of Xenon strobes can be quite erratic on some of these wireless setups let alone the possibility of both battery failure or R.F . Interference problems as we encountered with some of the budget modern strobes out there. There is simply no substitute or replacement for a good ole Diversitronics Luma-Power Super Strobe. This is the higher powered model as well with all available upgrade options.
