It's time to take a step back in time to an earlier and simpler time. This actual historic vintage Coca Cola Fountain Machine was made in the early 1960s and was in service into the early eighties and originally from a retail, gift shop & lunch counter diner facility previously purchased in a redevelopment project. This ice cooled series model came along in the late 50s and carried itself into the early 70s where the model was basically retired. This model system was the first real automatic modern system to replace the old two handle faucet tap system as seen on the left. This Antique Coca Cola Fountain has been in storage ever since. I am cleaning out space and while I really hate to part with it. I hope I can find an avid Coca Cola Antique Collector who will really treasure this truly rare gem of a find. This is a complete fountain system removed from service. Not simply a few pieces as many rare machines offer. This is the complete system and it even includes the antique turn-key management/safety cutoff switch as seen in the ice hopper with the original key. Make Arrangements To Pick Up This Rare & Valuable Slice Of Americana Today ! This style fountain unit was the workhorse of the late 50s and 60s diner and peace movement restaurants of this time era. You don't find many vintage coca cola fountain units like this today still in existence. Fountain unit has an ice hopper instead of refrigeration like modern machines of today do. The unit worked ok when removed from service. It will also include the carbonation pump which is not pictured. The pump was an up kit in the 1970s to replace the original pre and post mix metal canister system with a modern of the time bag in the box with the garden hose type connector. These are the fitting on the newer pump that was installed on the unit in the 1970s. Basically everything needed to make it work if you wanted to. You would need to do a fitting change for contemporary bag in the box of today . I doubt anyone would actually want to put it into service today with the advancements in technology. You are getting the real deal here. A very rare piece of American history at a reasonable price. This is the next lasting generation step after the old two handle system. It offered more flavors and rapid dispensing comparatively. Would look great in restaurant, bar, museum, entertainment facility. Basically anywhere you are trying to set a nostalgic atmosphere. This is the must have tourist attraction icon. Featured Flavors in this vintage antique machine are Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, Orange Crush & XXX Root Beer. Does this bring back warm memories of the Old Soda Fountain of Yesterday ? Does the thought of an ice cold coke from this machine take you back to more simple and better times of life ? This machine attracted ooohs and aahhhs of it's last visitors while in service and now it needs a new home and people to share it's warm memories with. Head is mounted on Stainless Steel Ice Hopper & Floor Stand which also has chilling plates for carbonation of beverages. Unit is mounted as shown and due to size and weight shipping would be costly prohibitive but not impossible. These are very, very rare today. The number of these units left from all I have been able to find. You could probably count on your hands. You will be looking long and hard to find one of these still left in existence today. It's the only one of it's type I have been able to find online in the entire Internet World. I am told this is a real gem from Coco Cola Corporate friends I have. I am now looking for the right person who would appreciate something like this. I happened to find a snapshot of the lunch counter area of this coke fountain unit back when it was still installed in service in its later days of operation just before closing. This was quite a discovery rummaging through old stuff and I was able to get our web person to get it ready to add into this site.
